INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

NCC is approved by SEVIS to issue M-1 visas to foreign students who wish
to study in the United States to obtain a vocational career.

NCC’s Admissions office will assist international students with their
application process, academic record evaluations, and issuance of form
I-20, which will enable the student to study in the United States on an
M-1 visa for a period of time specific to their educational certification
objective.

How to Apply
International applicants to NCC are required to submit the following:

  1. Complete admission application.

  2. $450.00 (US currency) non-refundable application and processing fee
    payable to NCC must accompany your application.

  3. Original or certified copies of all OFFICIAL academic records including
    certificates, degrees or diplomas in original language of issue. If you
    have studied in the U.S. such records should be mailed from the
    institution directly to NCC. DO NOT FAX ANY RECORDS.
  4. Official English translations of all academic records including
    certificates, degrees or diplomas. Do not fax translations.

  5. Financial Affidavit of Support and bank statement. Required financial
    information can be faxed to (818) 988-9944 or e-mailed to info@nccusa.edu.

Financial Requirements
All students applying for the M-1 visa must provide documentation of
financial support prior to the issuance of the visa.
If the student will use his/her own personal funds as the source of
financial support, the student must provide an official bank statement
showing the availability of enough liquid assets to cover the amount of
tuition and fees mentioned in the fees section. Statements and affidavits
must be current, and not more than 6 months old.
If a private sponsor including family member, friend, or any private
institution will sponsor the student, the sponsor must sign the Statement
of Financial Obligation. In addition, sponsors must provide their official
bank statement showing the availability of enough liquid assets to cover
the amount of tuition and fees mentioned in the fees section. Bank
statements and affidavits must be current, and not more than 6 months old.

If the student is sponsored by a public agency (embassy, home government,
public institution, religious organization, etc.), the agency must provide
official certification that the costs will be covered. Sponsorship
statements cannot be older than 6 months.

Immigration

  1. Financial Responsibility:
    Immigration and Customs Enforcement requires that all international
    students provide evidence of adequate funds to meet the financial
    obligations of the institution they wish to attend. International students
    are not eligible for financial aid.

    Please fill out both pages of the Financial Affidavit of Support and send
    or fax it with a bank verification of funds equal to or in excess of the
    required amount to the NCC – Office of International Admissions.

    The bank verification and the affidavit must include the name of your
    sponsor. Both must not be older than six months.

    The staff of the Office of International Admissions assists new and
    continuing international students with immigration and registration
    questions.

  2. Housing:
    Housing around the campus is easily available. If you are interested in
