Student Services
NCC’s Student Services Department is available for student issues and
consulting. Our goal is to help the students maintaining their daily
attendance. NCC will provide sufficient information and services to help
the students to succeed in their career and achieve to their goals.
Student Services Department also provides the following services:
Orientation
Prior to the first day of class, we hold a new student orientation. During
the orientation you will be given a tour of the whole faculty and each
department so you are aware of the services that will be open for you in
your academic time. During the orientation, institution policies and
procedures and program specific content will be reviewed.
Advising/Tutoring Assistance
National Career College is ready to provide tutoring assistance to those
students who are having academic difficulties and need special attention
in any areas of their program. Not available for all programs.
Parking
National Career College has free ample parking available including
handicapped spaces behind the facility, as well as the surrounding two
blocks of the building.
Conflict resolution assistance (faculty or students)
NCC is committed to maintaining a comfortable and safe environment in
which our employees can work and our students can pursue their academic
goals. The student Services Director will appropriately handle conflicts
between students or faculty members.
Purchasing Additional Supplies
In case of breakage or loss of any instruments or supplies, student may
contact for replacement to Student Services for additional fees.
Library/Access to Internet
Additional resource is available to help you better understand your
program. Access to Library and Internet is available to students during
normal office hours.
Obtaining Transcripts
Current Students and former students are entitled to one free copy of
their transcripts and two free verifications of enrollment by requesting
to the Student Services Director. Additional copies are available upon
request, or to designated addressees identified by students, at a
additional fee. Students may request special processing to expedite their
request.
Graduation Ceremony
Upon successful completion of the students’ designated program, graduates
are encouraged to attend a graduation ceremony to recognize their
achievements. Student Services will coordinate and announce graduation
dates and the place where the ceremony will take place.
Graduate Refresher Courses
National Career College offers its graduates the privilege of skill
refresher courses. Courses, modules or terms may be offered at no
additional charge, subject to class space and equipment availability. |
