Our History

National Career College (NCC) History

National Career College (NCC) was founded in 2005 as Dental Technology Institute of Southern California (DTISC), specializing in training Dental Laboratory Technicians.

In 2008, after three successful years of operation, DTISC received institutional accreditation from the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and changed its name to National Career College with an expanded program offering training in the allied health field.

In 2009 the college relocated to the City of Van Nuys, CA and after five years of successful growth, the campus moved to its present facility in Panorama City, CA.

In 2014, after five years of successful growth, the campus moved to its present facility in Panorama City, CA. At its new location, NCC continues to expand its programs and offer medical career-focused programs and training.

Now in its 12th year of operations and training the local community, NCC has opened an additional classroom location at 14547 Titus St. Panorama City, CA 91402. Located just .4 miles away from our main campus, this site offers an educational setting where students can conveniently access public transportation, local food, shopping, and public agencies within walking distance. The additional classroom location is available to students in the Medical Assistant, Medical Office Specialist, and Dental Assistant programs only.

At its new location, NCC continues to expand its programs and offer in demand career focused healthcare training. What began as a specialized training facility open to professionals seeking advancement in the dental field, has transformed into an established educational institution changing lives in the communities it serves through the power of education.”
